Post shop blog rebirth.

Post shop blog rebirth.

Hello ! Wow a blog , how old skool lol !!

I really wanted to bring these sort of posts back into my life post shop to bring myself back into touch as since the shop has closed I feel like I have somewhat been in recovery.

Pretty much most of last year was me waiting to see if someone wanted to take over which did finally arrive in August when the lovely Rasheed took over and turned 3 Kensington Place into the adorable Dream Street Records that it is today. :)

So given that prior to that I was running the shop and in 2024 healing my broken wrist at the same time, creating artwork has indeed taken a bit of a backseat, cut to now when I am working incredibly hard on a project that I started before the shop even opened and I am so close to having it finished which will be so exciting.

Once it is done I will very much be turning my attention to getting back into creating new things as I am desperate to channel my energy into fresh new things inspired by my recent trip to Goa and just living my life around Brighton and London.

So how do I feel now I don't have the shop?

Well life is a lot calmer thats for sure however I do really miss all of the lovely people who used to pop in and see me so it is my intention to do some stalls this year where I can reconnect and find out how everyone is doing so do look out for information on those if you want  to say hello.

I am looking at the stock that I hold and am discontinuing lines that no longer work for me so anything I do bring it may be the last chance to buy for now and I am keen to explore some alternative ways of getting my work out there not just greeting cards so thats exciting and of course there is my bench that this year will be out in the wild and I cannot wait to see where it ends up and all of the other designs that I am certain are going to be so much fun.

Even through right now is pretty grim out there lets hold onto the memories of Brighton at its finest and the joy that it brings and thank you as always for all of your support of me and my work.
