It’s made out of reinforced concrete and It was designed by architect Walter Aubrey Thomas. The Liver Birds were designed by German sculptor Carl Bernard Bartels. The 6 metre tall Liver Birds, on top of the Royal Liver building, are the symbols of Liverpool. According to legend, if the two birds face each other the city will crumble. Also was a popular TV comedy series.
